Using Collective Dialogues and AI to Find Common Ground Between Israeli and Palestinian Peacebuilders

Research by Andrew Konya applying AI and structured dialogue to bridge divides in real-world conflict settings, specifically among Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders following October 7th, 2023. The initiative engaged approximately 138 civil society participants between April and July 2024, producing collaborative statements with at least 84% agreement from participants on each side. Accepted at FAccT 2025, demonstrating methodology potential while documenting challenges deploying in genuinely polarized communities.
