Policy Priority Reference

Policy Priority Inference (PPI) is a research programme and open-source toolkit that models the causal link between government expenditure and policy outcomes using agent-based modeling (a transparent AI approach). It helps governments measure public spending impact on development outcomes and supports evidence-based decision-making under budget constraints, competing targets, and multidimensional development. Available as both Python code and a user-friendly web app, it has been deployed with multilateral organizations to support development planning for UN Sustainable Development Goals.
