End-to-end Assembly Software
What
Participant-facing interface for democratic processes and organizer-facing management system (combining CRM, materials distribution, and participation tracking).
Why
Strengthen both participant experience and capability to run high-quality deliberative processes ↑, enable real-time process monitoring and intervention ↑, scale process capacity without proportional staffing increases ↑
Problem Definition
Scattered communications across platforms cause people to lose track of schedules, materials, and roles, resulting in unnecessary dropouts. Also, each process scales linearly with coordinator time rather than leveraging systems.
Definition of Success
40% reduction in ‘didn’t know/couldn’t find’ disengagement and 60% increase in material engagement. 50% reduction in coordination hours and 70% reduction in errors. Smaller organizations can run professional-quality processes previously infeasible.
Requirements
- User authentication/RBAC
- Document management with version control.
- Communication infrastructure (email/SMS/notifications).
- Calendar integration.
- Mobile-responsive design.
- Offline capability.
- API layer for integrations.
- Challenges: interoperability without vendor lock-in across diverse process types; and contextual flexibility supporting wide process variation without rigid workflow assumptions.
Existing Limitations
Process organizers currently need to manage separate tools including generic CRMs (Salesforce), email tools (MailChimp), file sharing (Google Drive), survey tools (Google Form/TypeForm), and spreadsheets. None integrate full participant journey with organizer management needs in deliberation-specific workflows.
Milestones
- Build MVP participant portal with authentication, materials library, schedule view, basic messaging, single-process pilot.
- Organizer CRM dashboard with communication management, engagement analytics, CRM integration
Starting Points
Map organizer and participant workflows, features required at each step, and create a product roadmap.
